JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of all major marketing campaigns. From start to finish and from strategy to execution, this individual will help lead the team and processes to ensure success of integrated marketing campaigns. A key leader on the marketing team, this individual is responsible for articulating, implementing and executing vision and helping to drive the team to meet and exceed goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In partnership with the Sr. Director, execute marketing vision and strategies
    • Manage and provide accountability to all major marketing and fundraising campaigns
      • Drive the adherence to and accountability of work flow processes for the marketing team
      • Responsible for ensuring marketing budgets (expenses and revenue) are met through timely and effective execution of all marketing strategies as outlined by the Sr. Director.
      • Maintain quality delivery for all direct mail efforts from list accuracy to production
      • Keep MAP leadership informed of Marketing activity and impact by preparing reports; making presentations; interpreting data and making recommendations
      • Manage marketing analytics classifications process to ensure marketing efforts are properly being reported
      • Work collaboratively with vendors to develop and execute projects to support the marketing process
      • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project requests are completed with clear project details, deadlines and requirements
      • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
      • Develop project timelines and document in shared platform for use by the entire Marketing Team
      • Ensure that all marketing activities developed adhere to the organization’s brand positioning and guidelines
      • Utilize extremely strong organization and project management skills to lead several complex initiatives

      ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

      Reports to Sr. Dir., Marketing and Communications and interfaces with numerous internal teams and individuals, including the President and CEO and his/her assistant to determine needs, brainstorm ideas and pitch recommendations on various marketing requests.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Solid understanding of the processes and principles surrounding the creation of marketing materials/campaigns
      • Advanced project management/campaign implementation skills across complex integrated systems
      • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Great collaborator with ability to focus on big picture and micro details
      • Highly analytical, naturally curious, able to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
      • Ability to receive direct communication and communicate directly in return

      EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing or any related field, preferred
      • Minimum of 8+ years of professional marketing experience
      • Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience, required
      • Moderate to advanced computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
      • Experience in both for-profit and non-profit industries a plus
      • Demonstrated success in project management and driving accountability in a team environment
      • Demonstrated success in driving marketing campaigns with high returns
